Well, we have had some shoes walking into new homes! In September 2010, we gave a $50. donation to Soles 4 Souls. In February of 2011 we gave two donations of $30. Those were from sales of modified and painted purses.

In May of 2011 I started showing the shoes again at the Gallery and doing shows. I was able to send a $100. donation to Soles 4 Souls after doing a show at Joseph Phelps Winery for their Club Members.

So we are at $910.

HER SHOES are on display at SHOES ON FIRST in NAPA through the month of August.
We are at $700. in donations now!!! Every shoe painting sold provides at least $20. to Soles 4 Souls. www.giveshoes.org

Sixteen paintings are up in Shoes on First in Napa. They will be up during July. Yay!

It is easy to order a commission.
Just e mail me your shoe picture and favorite colors.
Comissions are $55. The painting is gallery wrapped canvas.
If the painting will be shipped, I recommend canvas board which would be $50.

HER SHOES

HER SHOES is a project motivated by a need for shoes. I am an artist in the process of painting over 300 shoe paintings each named for a specific woman. So far 71 have been numbered.



For each painting sold, I have given $20 to Soles4Souls. $100. at a time. So far I have sent $400 to Souls4Souls. They provide shoes to those most in need.



In August I committed to help a wonderful person helping children in the Philippines. Since that time, we have had 2 sales. For the rest of 2009 and for the time my friend is in the Philippines, $10 for each sale will help the children in the Philippines and $10 will go to Soles4Souls.
